We have opportunities Sunday-Thursday for volunteers who are 15 and older.
NOTE: VOLUNTEERS THAT ARE 15 CANNOT VOLUNTEER INDEPENDENTLY AND THEIR PARENT/GUARDIAN MUST ALSO PARTICIPATE AS A VOLUNTEER. NO ONE UNDER THE AGE OF 15 WILL BE ALLOWED TO VOLUNTEER FOR BROOKWOOD HORTICULTURE ACTIVITIES.
*** VOLUNTEERS ARE REQUIRED TO COMPLETE A VOLUNTEER APPLICATION ONLINE AT WWW.BROOKWOODCOMMUNITY.ORG BEFORE VOLUNTEERING FOR THE FIRST TIME. WHEN THEIR APPLICATION HAS BEEN APPROVED, THEY WILL RECEIVE AN EMAIL NOTICE THAT ALLOWS THEM TO SIGN UP FOR VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES.
Volunteers will check in at the Horticulture Office between 8:15 and 8:30 each morning.
Volunteers must wear closed toe shoes and recommend comfortable clothing for working outdoors/in greenhouses. Bring a water bottle.
**** **Anyone with intellectual/developmental disabilities that wishes to volunteer must go through our ADMISSIONS OFFICE to explore opportunities in compliance with our 14c certificate. **
