Brookwood offers a variety of meaningful opportunities for volunteers to work alongside our Citizens as well as in supporting roles that are outside of the Citizen Work Programs. These volunteers are members of our Heart of Brookwood Volunteer Crew and commit to serving regularly Monday through Friday for a portion of time between 8:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.
Volunteering in a Supporting Role: Opportunities designed as supporting roles, include assisting with Center for Learning Conference activities and in our Citizen Community Garden.
These opportunities include:
Supporting Citizens
- Center for Learning Fall and Spring Conferences
- Citizen Community Garden
Volunteering Alongside Citizens: These opportunities are centered around partnering with Citizens in their Work Programs and Fitness Activities.

To help ensure a positive and successful experience for both volunteers and Citizens, an interview process is required so we can thoughtfully match volunteers based on personality, interests, abilities, and support needs.
All volunteers must receive approval from the Brookwood Volunteer Manager prior to receiving a link to sign up and participate in these opportunities.
