2026 Poinsettia Season - Details Coming In August!
Join us for our amazing 2026 Poinsettia Season! We have multiple ways you can volunteer individually or as a group/team to help our Horticulture Team through all the steps to get our gorgeous plants ready for the holidays! The Brookwood Community is well known for the quality of our poinsettia plants!
Our Horticulture Team starts each season with about six weeks dedicated to planting poinsettias, followed by special "pinching" activity to promote how the poinsettias grow. The next six to seven weeks focus on placing growth rings on the poinsettias and spacing the crop effectively in our greenhouses. Next, the poinsettia plants are placed in sleeves to prepare them for delivery and finally, the plants are delivered to our customers!
